Copy Cat Closet - Boot Cuffs

 This week's Copy Cat Closet challenge was Boot Cuffs!  I actually didn't have any boot socks or leg warmers, so I had to steal some from my daughter's drawer.  If you don't have any, don't worry, you can actually make some out of that old sweater you were going to throw away.  Simply cut off the sleeves and use them as your boot cuffs.  I've already pulled out a sweater from my husband's closet that he was going to get rid of to make some boot cuffs and maybe some sweater throw pillows.  I'll be sure to share when I do.

Here is a picture of our inspiration from Ma Nouvelle Mode.  Love the look with shorts, but I didn't have any tights.  Another thing to add to my shopping list!

I decided to go casual with skinny jeans, boots, and a sweater.  As you can probably tell, I usually go for the casual and comfortable look.  I do like to add in that little something special every once in a while too. I think the boot cuffs do just that.  Just that extra detail the outfit needed.

For the hair, we were challenged to wear our bangs in many of the different ways she lists Here.  Lots of cute and easy ideas.

I went with an easy twist, taking the front section and twisting it to one side.  Pin it in place under your hair to hide it.  Now your hair will stay out of your face.  I will definitely be trying out some of her other ideas as well.
