It seems like babies are everywhere right now. So many women are pregnant. Where there are pregnant women, there are baby showers! Where there are baby showers there are games that no one really wants to play. Well, here is an easy one that takes no more effort than sipping on a drink!
My Water Broke!
You will need an ice cube tray (or 2 depending on how many people are coming to the shower) and one little plastic baby for each invited guest. I found my babies at a party store in the baby shower section. If they don't have babies, you could also use the little plastic bottles or any other little plastic figures they have. Wash the babies and place one in each of the ice cube slots. Fill the tray up with water and freeze until hard.
After everyone arrives at the party, make sure each guest has a drink. Give everyone an ice cube with the babies in them for their drink. The guests just need to keep an eye on their drinks. The winner is the first one to have their baby break free of their ice cube. They must yell out, "My Water Broke!"
It is always nice to have a little gift for the game winner. Ideas include $5 gift certificates, candles, recipe books, stationary, manicure set, lotion, a picture frame, a coffee mug, or fridge magnets.
