Apple Pie Milkshake

Fall is finally here!  Even in Florida, temperatures are starting to drop.  We still hit the 80's everyday, but you can feel that breeze and it's not painful to be outside anymore.  So what does fall mean to you?  Does apple pie come to mind?  It will when you taste this Apple Pie Milkshake!  Yum!

Have you seen the new ice cream flavor from Breyers?  It's called Apple Cinnamon Crumble and it is just begging to be made into a milkshake.  I saw it in the freezer at the store and I had to give it a try.  Perfect flavor to welcome fall!

3 c. Apple Cinnamon Crumble Ice Cream
1/2 c. Apple Cider

Place cider and ice cream in your blender and mix until smooth.  Pour into a glass, top with a bit of whipped cream and caramel sauce.  Enjoy!

Can't find apple cinnamon ice cream?  Use vanilla ice cream and add a 1/2-1 tsp of cinnamon.  Leftover apple pie?  Freeze a small slice and then allow to sit out for around 30 minutes.  Add to your ice cream and cider, then blend.  Freezing it for a bit and letting it thaw a bit will make your shake thicker.

Blend up your own apple pie milkshake and celebrate the beginning of this cooler weather.
