A couple of weeks ago we went out to take some family Christmas pictures. It's really the only time we seem to get our pictures taken as a group. Usually it is just the kids. It's always an event to get everyone dressed up in coordinating outfits and head out to find the right spot to capture the moment. Then there's the challenge of getting everyone looking at the camera and smiling at the same time, which is made even tougher with an 11 month old!
To make the process more of a challenge, we have to borrow my father-in-law's camera. A DSLR is on my Christmas list, but pretty sure that's not happening this year. Thank goodness for photo editing for all of my blog pics!
This year we went to downtown Sanford to use the cool brick facades for backgrounds. Luckily it was cool enough that day to wear winter clothes so it actually looks like the holidays. Today it was back up to 80 degrees!
We had a great morning and I was happy with how the pictures turned out. I just wanted to share some of my favorites with you.
GORgeous pics, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, your photos turned out fantastic! I always have such trouble getting the kids to smile nice, at the same time...forget getting me or dad involved, lol!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful family Melissa! :)
Thank you! I have to say that there were a lot of pictures in the reject pile and the girls couldn't wait to be done. But they were troopers! :)
