I feel like I am in waiting mode, since I have been sick in bed since the new year started. How do you get those resolutions started when you don't even have the energy to move? But really, resolutions should be more like a marathon, and less like a sprint. Slow and steady, working on them throughout the year. If you sprint, trying to get everything done now, you will definitely burn out accomplishing nothing. I really believe moderation is the key! I definitely need to start eating healthy again. Of course, I just got a bunch of treats as gifts. So I will definitely be enjoying those, just as special treats in moderation! ;-) I also want to get back on my workout schedule, but that will probably not happen until I'm feeling better and the girls are back in school. I also want to start running more. This means I'm going to have to make it to the doctor to find out what I can do with this nagging hamstring injury. Finally I want to continue to enjoy my family, taking in every moment and not taking anything for granted.
I started my blog in September of 2011. I've had a great time creating and sharing and am looking forward to a new year of crafts, recipes, and experiences to share. I have also created resolutions for my blog with goals I would like to accomplish this year. When I started this blog, it was from nothing with no experience to build off of. Due to this, my blog is pretty basic with a stock layout. I would really like to create my own unique look for my blog this year. I may have to do a little more practice and research to figure out the best way to do this.
I have made my own button to share, but I would also like to add a Featured By button. That way people can display them on their blog when I feature their great ideas to share with my readers.
Of course I would love to expand my reader numbers. I would love to increase my readers to 100 for my Blog Followers, Facebook likes and also my Twitter followers. I'd also love to share more ideas to readers on Pinterest!
After reaching my goals of 100 followers, I would love to host a giveaway to celebrate! It would be fun to giveback to the readers that have given their time to me and my blog.
Here's to a year full of new crafts, new friends, and a lot of fun! Happy New Year!
