This past weekend we joined the Bridging into the next Century celebration held at Epcot. Part of the festivities included an area for the girls to exchange swaps. These are basically just handmade items that the girls can pin on or wear. It's really a fun way for the girls to meet some new friends and trade little trinkets. We could have made hundreds of them, but decided 25 for each girl was enough. We decided to make Fortune Cookie Swaps!
Start by tracing circles onto a piece of craft felt. We used the bottom of a cup measuring around 2 inches across to make our circles. Cut out your circles.
Now you will fold each of the sides up towards each other, creating your fortune cookie. So simple!
Now you can create your fortunes! We printed a message with the girls name and troop number and cut them out in strips. Ours read, "Good Luck for another 100 years!"
